My name is Oriel Mendez, I am the Founder of Sol Sound & Stage.

I am a Dominican saxophonist, producer, and music instructor from Lawrence. From My experience, I have found one big hurdle in the artists community. We lack places designed for proper career growth. Athletes have Gyms, Doctors have Medical Schools, Trades have Trade Programs. But Musicians don't have proper support in terms of obtaining stable and clear career paths. This is where Sol Sound & Stage comes in.

Sol Sound & Stage triples as a collaborative space, a recording studio, and a performance venue. The mission for “Sol Sound & Stage” is to create a gym-like experience for artists so they can focus more on working on the craft itself. In a world where artists, musicians, and writers are starving for stability; this studio stands as a beacon for growth and independence.

Collabortive Space

Sol Sound & Stage encourages collaboration with the community. we host various programs and events as a way to have a stronger foundation for local artists to build and create.

giving freedom for them to host 1 on 1 instrument lessons, as well as providing the space to just learn and sharpen their techinques.

Recording Studio

With our recording studio, We offer audio engineering services, rehearsal spaces, and connections to local live musicians, instrumentalists, and beat makers. What makes us unique is our huge rehearsal space. Anything is possible here. Band rehearsals, band recordings, and overall local collaboration are big benefits of our studio.

Performance venue

Lastly, Our newly constructed event space offers an excellent opportunity for up and coming artists and local businesses.

as artists, we don't have the best places to highlight our talents. Performing at bars, restaurants, and clubs is a good route for exposure and visibility but Our stage would allow artists to create their own events at an affordable price and have better control of how they present their craft.

This would allow them to gain fans, curate better experiences for that fan base, and obtain an accurate picture of the value they bring to other venues in order to maximize profit for everyone involved.
